ShotGrid Create doesn't display notes on a version

I have a setup where a Note is linked to (from left to right) a playlist, an Animatic task, a test Entity, and the version name.

When checking the Notes on the test entity, its linked
but when checking the task Notes, it’s empty.

And ShotGrid create of course doesn’t display any of the Notes at all, despite displaying the Version just fine.
Any help appreciated! Manually assigning the notes to the task is no option when it should be automatically done by linking them already.

for more context. I have “Open Notes” on for pretty much every single entity in the ShotGrid Create Settings. It only shows the Open Notes Count in the Info tab, but nothing about the notes itself. Pretty frustrating.
