I’m trying to hide statuses in one of my status fields and I keep getting this error create failed (reason_code 3): Invalid project: project [] does not exist. what does it mean?!

You get this error if trying to adjust per-Project visibility settings while not in a Project.
If you want to HIDE a Status from all Projects, the only option is to go through the Project Tracking Settings for each Project and hide from the Entity’s Status list there.
It is only possible to delete across all Projects using the Trashcan icon option in either “Configure Field” or “Project Tracking Settings” - you will be prompted, “Do you want to delete for this Project only, or for ALL Projects?” and then you choose accordingly.
