How to make the value of sg_asset_type take effect only in the current project

You’ve discovered a limitation with Shotgun. While statuses are configurable per project, the values in list fields are not, currently. You’d need to create another list field type to track another set of data. I recommend submitting your idea to our public roadmap which is delivered straight to our Product Team:
