Event for Failed Reading of Source

In an ideal world, RV would read everything we throw at it, but we make the understanding that Autodesk will not pay for every codec license under the sun.

Instead, however, I’d like to gracefully handle when RV cannot load a particular file (and in some cases, send RV down a path to load a lower quality representation of the same file which may be in a more compatible format).

However, when I try to use -debug events when loading an H265 video (as an example of a codec RV does not natively support), I don’t even get the error message printed to the console.

Is there a way for a package to handle failed source reads that I’m not seeing?

Thanks,
-Kessler
