I’m pretty sure there should be an easy toggle somewhere to disable autodetecting of apps in tk-multi-launchapp, but for the life of me I can’t find it. We’re trying to shave precious seconds out of bootstrapping a project config in desktop and we suspect launchapp is one potential place to eek out some savings by relying on software entities exclusively and skipping the autodetect entirely. Anybody on this forum know the setting? Thanks in advance
it runs the startup.py in each engine to autodetect that, don’t think there is a seting for it.
I think that’s part of the puzzle, but thanks for steering me in the right direction @Ricardo_Musch . Looks like if you’re using software entities for a given engine it disables the autodetect for said engine.
