Hello
I updated to houdini20.5.445_py3,10 version
But I changed to shotgrid toolkit v1.9.5
Shotgrid toolkit still doesn’t load
Is it not supported yet? Is there a solution?
I assume you mean Houdini 20.5.
According to the official release notes the Houdini Engine is supported:
As of version 20.5.368, Houdini 20.5 is supported
Do you get any errors in the logs or on screen?
I am a beginner in shotgrid, so my skills are lacking. There is no error log. The engine itself does not run, so tk-houdini.log log is not generated. I tested it by running houdini20.5.445 and then import sgtk print(sgtk.platform.current_engine()) Output: None The engine itself does not run. Currently, when I use houdini19.5 tk-houdini v1.9.5, the shotgrid toolkit is displayed normally.
How did you add a launcher for Houdini 20.5?
Did you do this in the Software Page on SG or is houdini 20.5 automatically recognized by SG Desktop?
Installed on Linux local and registered the execution command on the sg page
did you fill out the engine
field with tk-houdini
?
Added.
If you look at the SG desktop log,
HOUDINI_PATH: tk-houdini/v1.9.5… TANK_ENGINE: tk-houdini
It looks like the path is set normally.
After changing the tk-houdini version, I just changed the houdini version to v1.9.5 in engine_locations.yml. Is there anything else I need to add?
Reload your SG desktop so it caches the new engine.
