I am using pipeline integrations with ShotGrid Desktop 1.5.9. ShotGrid Desktop does launch the apps. I am on MacOS Catalina.

We haven’t been able to reproduce the problem yet. Can you open a ticket to support ? We will continue the investigation there. We will need the application and toolkit logs, they are located there:
From Create:
/Users/${USER}/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/ShotGridCreate/ShotGridCreate.log
From tk-desktop2:
/Users/${USER}/Library/Logs/Shotgun/tk-desktop2.log
