Old style Import of data by copying from excel sheet?

I was just wondering if the old style of copying data from an excel sheet and pasting it in the browser is still supported?

I just tried to paste data into that window and it worked fine…
I just thought it was replaced!

Old school pasting still works as well as drag and drop or selecting a supported file (*.xlsx, *.xls, *.csv)

Yeah, it’s just only talking about dropping or linking an excel or csv file so I thought pasting wasn’t there anymore.
