We’ve been running into this issue for a while now (I would say for over a year – perhaps more) where some users will have their timeline reset when playing Cuts in their browser and RV.
The typical use case is as follow:
- Open Version (by clicking on the thumbnail)
- Click “Review this Version in Cut” option in the bottom left
- Look at “Entire Cut” (rather than minicut)
- Play Cut
And this is where the issue occurs, upon playing the 2nd media in the Cut, the timeline will clear itself automatically and show a single media instead; the Cut Reference QuickTime.
The only workaround I’m aware of is to clear their cookies in their browser, this seems to work fine, but I would rather have this permanently fixed 
If anyone has experienced this issue in the past and/or have more details, that would be much appreciated. Cheers!
