We have an issue where the query used for Assets’ “Thumbnail Based on Query” randomly resets from our custom query to the default query (selecting based on Date Created, below).
Our custom query was set up to select Versions linked to the current Asset which have a certain checkbox checked.
We’re unsure what triggers the reset. It seems to happen every few weeks at random, so we were thinking it could be related to updates happening on the Shotgrid instance. Our Shotgrid instance is a cloud-based one at a shotgunstudio.com URL. We have a couple workarounds that we’ve been using, but none of them work as well as the “Thumbnail Based on Query” feature.
Has anyone else run into issues using “Thumbnail Based on Query,” and are there any ways we can make sure our query parameters stick?
