Welcome to the forums!
SG to Discord sounds pretty great, I haven’t heard of anyone doing this specifically but it looks like it should be possible using webhooks.
I saw this on the discord support channel https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/228383668-Intro-to-Webhooks
And in combo with our webhooks https://developer.shotgunsoftware.com/3d448f5e/
You may be able to set up something directly, or use a third party like Zapier to connect the endpoints.
