Shotgun Panes in RV disabled

Whenever we use “Play in RV” from Shotgun to open up an RV session with our internal media, the RV panes are disabled by default:

The only way to make them appear again is when we clear/reload, which we need to do every time a new RV session is opened:

Is there a way to make these panels show up by default?
