RV Screening Room Sequence Edit Variations

We have been using RV Screening Room to Review our work on Edit context (‘Cut view’), and for most of the features we consider essential we have been able to find some sort of solution.

We are now having to tackle edit cut variations and I haven’t figured out the best to do this with RV Screening Room.
Basically, we have worked on a sequence for a 30 secs edit and we now need to create a 45 secs edit which uses some of the shots from the 30 secs SEQ as they are and introduces new shots.

I have been playing with some workaround solutions but I was wondering if someone has attempted this successfully.

Ideally we’d like to either configure a sequence loaded in RV based on a selection of shots (and order) or a Cut which behaves as selecting the sequence does (but chooses shots from a given list).

Hello Jacob,

I don’t know if you are aware of this but as part of the ‘Shotgun Review for RV’ deprecation effort, we are currently adding cut support in RV Screening Room.

It would give you pretty much the same cut support functionality previously offerred by Shotgun Review for RV but in RV Screening Room instead.

As a result, you will be able to ingest and review cuts in RV Screening Room.
