Since we’ve started using RV 2024.1.0, we regularly (but randomly) get some movies displayed as black images. It’s difficult to reproduce on a given movie or Playlist.
Does anyone have similar issues?

We have the same issue with RV2024 ! When we switch between multiple medias into rv, sometimes it loads a black media.
Not very cool for a client session…
We have the same behavior. It’s tough to replicate on our side.
On top of the black screens we have crashes as well when loading two versions either from the filesystem or via Screening Room or via rigt click menu from within Flow.
We are still investigating under which circumstances this is most likely to happen.
Just a thought here, Media links from SG are time restricted (valid for 10 minutes).
Could it be possible that there is a refresh issue and RV is not refreshing the links when they time out?

No log, and the images are on local server. It’s really random. You load a Playlist in RV, sometimes it one media is black, and the next time all of them are loaded correctly, or another one is black.

Weird, I would log it as a bug to support.
