Organize View Tabs in DropDown Menu?

Hi,
Is there a way to store view tabs into a drop-down menu?
After creating views in the Design View page, tabs are created in a Page.
I’m going to create lots of views for a Page, and want to find a way to organize tabs in a drop-down menu just like ShotGrid’s default “Details” or “Filter”.

Hello!

It depends how you’re trying to organize your information.

You could use Saved Filters if each tab will be displaying the same type of information, just for a different department/show/etc. All the Saved Filters would exist within the same tab, so in that sense, they would be a drop-down from the Filters menu.

If you’re going to have a lot of tabs, there is a limit to the number of tabs a page will display before it defaults to a drop-down menu. So you will end up with something of a drop-down menu anyways, depending on the number of tabs you plan to create, although I’m not sure if this is exactly what you’re after. These tabs can also be re-ordered in Design mode to suit your needs.

Not sure if this helps. I think Saved Filters would be my preference. Check out ShotGrid’s Help page for more info on saved filters!
