Multiple Videos per published version?

Wondering about best practice for incorporating multiple videos during a publish.

Currently, we are generating 2-3 videos per publish, but accessing those videos via thumbnails and making notes individually per video seems cumbersome.

Is it a better practice to publish data and videos into separate versions (a separate version per video) to maintain the best accessibility for reviews?

Hey Blaine,

Good to see you here. Its been long.

Yes generally when we need to upload multiple videos or multiple files from a process we upload them as different versions. That way we can get notes on individual versions. We do track the source file that makes each version so that we can go back and iterate on those. Hope this makes sense.

Thanks,
Rachit

Thanks for your expertise @Rachit_Singh! I agree, it’s definitely best to have each media file uploaded as its own Version so it can be reviewed as a separate entity and notated with a dedicated conversation thread via Note(s).

The linked article reviews the options available for submitting work / creating Versions - you can pick the one that best suits your workflow.

Cheers,
Beth
