This has been submitted to the product roadmap:
Projects can have a large number of fields on a given entity. This can become unwieldy (especially when using deep linking). Also, adding fields one-by-one can be slow as the page reloads every time you hide or reveal a field. It would be beneficial to have field groups (similar to the way that gmail nests labels). It would be great to be able to expand and collapse these groups as needed, or to be able to deploy a specific group of fields on a page with a single click. This would reduce the need to create separate tabs for individual use cases. It would also make it easier to navigate an entity’s fields. It could also be deployed in a similar way to saved page filters.
Any thoughts on this?
