What happens when I duplicate a Shot? Does it also duplicate everything attached to it (like Tasks, Notes, Versions?)

I would like to know what happens when I duplicate a Shot, does it also duplicate everything that is attached to it, for example Tasks?

No, Tasks do not get copied over between Shots when you duplicate them, only field data does. Since Tasks don’t live in a field on the Shot persay, they aren’t duplicated.

  • What does happen is if there is a task template in the Task Template field on the Shot, when you duplicate the Shot, that template will be applied which will give you the latest setup of Tasks for that Template.
