The Vendor permission set allows vendors to see only the assets and shots to which they have tasks assigned. Those tasks usually require users to see the upstream dependency tasks (for example, a modeler would need to see the approved designs).
So we could copy approved designs to the model task in order for the modeler to see them (this is a ton of extra work if done manually, and duplicate information if automated).
Or we could update the permission set to allow vendors to see not only their tasks, but any upstream tasks as well. Now that everything runs through Autodesk, what is the best method for requesting this?
Or we could give vendors Artist permissions, but we don’t want vendors to have access to all assets / shots.
How do people deal with this issue, any good ideas?
