Hello, I am from Korea and I am setting up the shotgrid desktop app in Korea. However, for some reason, the UIs created with the desktop app do not allow Korean input at all.
First of all, since there is no log, I do not know what to check.
I will share our environment
rocky linux 8.8
shotgrid 1.8+
Please help me.
Is the app crashing on startup?
Logs are written to ~/.shotgun/logs/ on linux.
Also if this seems like a bug I would make an official ticket to Autodesk:
There is no specific log, I am just guessing that one of rocky linux 8.8, shotgrid desktop app, or PySide2 is conflicting with ibus.
However, in general, Korean can be used in Rocky Linux, and DCC tools also use ibus well, but I was wondering if there was a case where only the shotgrid desktop app had a problem.
This is a possibility, I would make a ticket so the team can confirm this officially.
