RV Version Selector Caching

Hi there,

At our studio we are using the “Version Selector” tool found here:

http://tweaksoftware.com/static/documentation/rv/current/html/versioning_help.html

which is essentially a hotkey that allows you to switch between versions with a little gui showing what version you are on.

I was wondering if it is possible to cache the versions listed in the version selector as currently every time you switch between the versions, they have to reload.

Unfortunately there isn’t much user control over what is considered for caching/releasing. RV does try to clean up cache as late as possible in case you need things, so keeping your cache large enough to allow it to not clean up is the best advice I can give presently.
