Multi-selectable list?

We’re bringing in data from other systems (and sending data out). Is there a data format for fields that would support a multi-selectable list?

I can convert the input to a delimited listed string but it isn’t user friendly to enter, nor are we able to limit what they list.

i.e. genres, multiple genres from a fixed list.

A multiple entity field is kinda life a multiple selection. Specially with the new option that shows the list of possible values when you start editing.

You can also use the Tag entity.
