Markdown heading formatting in threaded entities no longer working?

Is anyone else having the issue where Markdown formatted headings in Tickets and other threaded entities is not rendering correctly?

Docs indicate the syntax:

And this is what I am seeing:

Same here, heading suddenly stopped working a few weeks ago…
Other notations seem to work👀

H1 and H2 headings still seem to work with the underline style for what it’s worth, but the # style for 6 levels of headings is no go.
