Hello all.
I’d like to link to my local file or directory on Shotgun.
However, the error is popped up when I try to do it.

How can I make it?

Thanks for posting!

It looks like you are missing some setup here. To embed a local path onto File/link field, you need to:

  • Add the root local file storage in Site Preference->File Management section
  • Install Shotgun Desktop and keep it running while you would like to browse the local storage to input a local path.

Even if you turn on “enable linking to local files” in file management, the “no browser integration available” window appears.
What should I do?
