Import Locator Lists into RV

Hi there,

Is there a way to import locator lists into RV?

We received EDLs from the client with locators and I can do this in Resolve but I was wondering if there was some way to do this in RV as well.

Hey @lennyfoulds,

Unfortunately vanilla RV only supports ASCII EDL format. You’d have to convert your EDL into it:

You could also construct you RV session with how you’d want your cut in/cut out to be operated, but again it’s pretty basic functionality.

If you’re using Shotgun and would like to import your cuts into Shotgun, you can use our Import Cut tool to have a much more flexible control over locators:
