Existing Versions not appearing in Canvas widget: "No matching Versions to Show"

Testing the SG Canvas for the first time and have been unable to view existing Versions in Versions Widget.
The column headers are there, but the table is empty, and there’s an alert: “No matching Versions to Show”

Tested Episodes and Shots widgets, and they display just fine.
In fact, the thumbnails in the Shots widget are those auto-generated from the associated Versions.

Trying to figure out what makes Versions the exception

Can you post an image of your page in edit mode?
There is no Versions widget per se, but widgets (e.g. Grid widget) are configured to display a particular entity type (e.g. Versions).
Also check there is no filter active.

Yes, correct: It’s a ‘Grid Widget’ displaying the ‘Versions’ entity, with no filters applied (at least none I’m aware of)

RE “No matching Versions”: what kind of “match” would it be referring to?

The “Versions” default filter is active (in blue).
Hover over it then select Edit to verify it is not excluding some Versions.
