We’ve enforced validation on some of our entities (no special characters, spaces etc…). When using the “Duplicate Selected Entity” feature, users receive an error saying they cannot create an entity because the name doesn’t conform to our validation rules. Duplicated entities get named automatically as follows: “entityName (copy)”. Seeing spaces and parentheses in filenames and entity names is a big no-no, so we need to be able to enforce this. Perhaps something can be done to allow this Duplication action to live in harmony with these kind of validation rules. Does anyone know a workaround? For now I’ve relaxed our validation rules to include spaces and parenthesis (yikes!).

Ah yes I noticed this when it was introduced, definitely one to send a ticket about to support so its properly logged.
