[Critical] Signing Certificate for Adobe extensions has expired

Hello, it appears the signing certificate for the Adobe extension is no longer valid.

This is a critical issue since it’s blocking the Adobe Panels in any Adobe software from launching. Posting here first in case anyone else is having this issue. I will also be submitting a ticket to Autodesk support.

I just wanted to paste this here, this is the first time I interacted with the new AI based support system on autodesk.com. My support case was closed immediately after receiving this response.

Hello Dan,

I hope this message finds you well.

We wanted to clarify that Adobe Photoshop is not related to Autodesk. Adobe Photoshop is a product developed by Adobe Inc., which specializes in software for graphic design, photo editing, and digital art. For any queries related to Adobe Photoshop, we kindly request you to contact Adobe Photoshop support.

If you are facing any issues with an Autodesk product, please reply to this email with the details. If we do not receive a response by the end of the day, we will assume that no further action is required from our end and close the case.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,

I would like to know what the official channel of tech support for Autodesk is now. Please let me know what the best and or official channel is for receiving knowledgeable tech support for Autodesk products today. Where possible, including in this case, I submit issues directly to git repos managed by Autodesk, since I know those issues hit inboxes of actual programmers / product managers and may also generate tickets directly in internal systems for the teams who need them.

Hello @Dan_Bradham , we’ve identified the problem. As a workaround, I recommend downgrading to tk-framework-adobe v1.2.4. We’re actively working on a permanent fix and will keep you updated.

Curious why you identified v1.2.4 as the safe rollback point? That release is a little over a year old and 6 releases back.

Hello community, we’ve just released a new version of tk-framework-adobe v1.2.11. We identified some issues with the signing tool, but they should now be resolved. Please feel free to test it and share your feedback.
