We thought that everyone would like to know that you should not update to PySide2 5.14.2 or later on all platforms. There’s a regression that will freeze any Toolkit applications. A low-level primitive in PySide2 was broken. The Qt team has acknowledged the issue and is working on a fix.

Hi everyone,
PySide2 5.15.0 fixed the issue, but we did have to fix code in shotgunutils to make Toolkit properly work with it. If you’re writing a custom app built on top of your own copy of Qt or the latest version of Autodesk VRed, we recommend you you upgrade tk-framework-shotgunutils to v5.7.7 or more recent.
