Currently the Notes Stream on the right hand side will only show versions of the same task as the version being viewed. It would be beneficial to see a list of all versions linked to the overall shot regardless of the task or pipeline step. We often refer to notes from previous pipelines, to ensure everything has been addressed. For example, when reviewing a Compositing version, we need a quick way to seen notes on the Animation versions.

You can use the Version Selector to find the version you are looking for, and even filter by the Pipeline step.
We’ve also taking this and created an internal product ticket. We’ll take a look at this as part of our ongoing work for potential work and new features in the future and make sure that the workflow is as good as possible.

Thank you! Yeah using the version selector is our current workaround, but having all options available in the notes stream itself (like the current overlay player does) would save some clicks!

Hi Karina! Regarding the ability to view notes from versions associated with the shot and not just the tasks in the right panel, is this something you would like to toggle on and off as needed? Potentially a filter option to show and hide version notes from specific pipeline steps or other conditions?
Ooh yeah the ability to toggle as needed would be great. We tend to refer back to a few specific pipeline steps so the ability to filter those in would work.
