Change Maya Templates for EXR

Hi there!
Is it possible to change the folder for the rendered Seq of the EXR on Maya?
There is no definition on Templates.yml and the only way, is to change the shot_maya_work but the render is always with the script. I want to do something like these. Any ideas?

shot_maya_work:
definition: "@shot_root/…ma
shot_maya_render_exr:
definition: "@cg_shot_render…{SEQ}.exr

A custom app would be able to do this based on the context changing.
Maybe a custom shelf script too.
