Block Version Upload on Select Entities

Hello!

I’d like to somehow block permission to upload versions directly on the Shot or Asset entity, and restrict a specific permission group to only be able to upload versions to tasks. Is there any way to do this?

Hello, Shotgrid support helped me with this one and I figured I’d put a solution in case anyone else runs into the same thing-

In the global layouts for version upload, you can configure the layout on the Task field to be a required field for successful upload, ensuring users always have a task associated with their version.
