Any way to bring up a list of what entities a user is following?

I’ve poked around and can’t seem to figure out if there’s an easy way to display that info.

Hi Jessica,

Thanks for your post! Unfortunately, there isn’t currently a way to see a list of things you’re, or another user, is Following. Sorry about that! That said, this is a popular feature request. You can track what we’re working on and submit a request on our roadmap here: https://www.shotgunsoftware.com/roadmap/

Cheers,
Astrid

I put together a simple AMI for doing this a while ago. To be honest I wrote it just to learn stuff and don’t actually use it myself

Hi @jlweiss,

If you’re familiar with the Shotgun Python API, there are a few methods specifically around following.

Here’s the documentation for how to determine who a user is following, should you want to build your own script:

In this movie Producer Training - Shotgun: Set up Account Settings - YouTube at 5:01 the followed entities are highlighted with a blue sticker

This doesn’t seem to work anymore (though I’ve never noticed it before). Has the feature been removed? It could be useful as a hacky workaround the problem of not being able to see which entities you are following

// edit - the sticker actually does show up - just not on a regular list view page- you have to go to global search -> see all results
