In this release we’ve focused on further refinements to the importer.

Improvements to global imports

When importing spreadsheet data in the global context (outside of a particular project) that requires a project, you’ll now be prompted to associate the data with a specific project, or to provide a column in your spreadsheet with the correct project for each row.

Other changes

  • It should no longer possible to map two or more columns to the same field during import. [SG-17572]
  • Improved handling situations where date-like data is mapped to list or entity type fields. [SG-17897]
  • When no theme has specifically been selected, Shotgun will fall back to the operating system theme. [SG-12632]

  • Copying task status when applying a task template. In case of Re-Apply for existing tasks, the status will not be carried over unless it’s a new task. [SG-18702]
  • When updating an existing task template by saving tasks to a task template, if there are tasks on the task template that are not included in the tasks that are being saved, Shotgun will now send those additional tasks to the trash. [SG-18462]
  • Fixed an issue where retiring a project’s billboard could break the overview page. [SG-18070]
  • Fixed issues with “Client Notes” permissions that triggered email notifications for users that were not allowed to see these notes. [SG-17910]
