Hi, I tried to give more permissions to a vendor on the “People Permissions” page and made the following changes:

  • Permission Rule [Shotgun_PermissionRuleSet_ChangeRule]: FOR: Vendor: ALLOW Type: see_entity: ApiUser
  • Permission Rule [Shotgun_PermissionRuleSet_NewRule]: FOR: Vendor: ALLOW Type: update_field: Episode
  • Permission Rule [Shotgun_PermissionRuleSet_NewRule]: FOR: Vendor: ALLOW Type: create_entity: Playlist
  • Permission Rule [Shotgun_PermissionRuleSet_NewRule]: FOR: Vendor: ALLOW Type: update_field: Playlist
  • Permission Rule [Shotgun_PermissionRuleSet_NewRule]: FOR: Vendor: ALLOW Type: update_field: Status

However, something went wrong, and now “some” not all of the thumbnails have disappeared from the versions, and they can’t be played. Do you know how to revert to the previous settings?

From the above permissions, that shouldn’t break the playability of any Versions.
Any other info you can give?

Also, if you need this resolved sooner it is worth dropping Support a ticket so they can login to your site and check what has happened.

Thank you for your response. It appears to be an internal pipeline issue, and we are currently investigating it. We appreciate your suggestion and will contact Support if necessary.
