I did create multiple task template for shots and assets but for some reason the upstream dependency don’t work for some people in my class. (university teacher here)
I upstream dependency work well if I create tasks and set upcoming dependency on each of them, but when I use a taks template… nothing, but just for some people in the class.
They are all Admin, so I wonder why for some it dont work. Do you have an idea?
Are you wanting to create an upstream dependency on a shot/asset template to a task outside of that template?
Example:
Shot task template 1:
Task 1 upstream dependency is Asset task?
If so then that wouldn’t work as shot/asset templates will only contain data handled with that entity to assist with creation.
You can do upsteam and downstream linking between shots and assets after they have been made.
Or I’m misunderstanding
