Question : shotgrid calculated fields search

Hello.
It’s my first time asking after just looking around.

I created a Calculated field.
(Output format is Text.)

But I couldn’t find the Calculated field in “Search”.

  1. Can I set the Calculated field to be searched in “Search”?
  2. If number 1 is difficult,
    Is there a way to set the Calculated field content to be interlocked or auto-copied in the field of Text Type?

I think the answer is no sadly. I’ll let the SG team confirm that answer.

You can copy the value from your Calculated Field and put it in a separate Field using WebHooks or the ShotgunEvent.
But in any case, you will need the help from a TD.

Yes exactly, in this case the solution depends on if you always want the field to be updated (Event handler or webhooks) or want to be in control when that happens (Action Menu Item).
