Nuke Save Dialog on New File Creation

Hi there,

I’d really like to set it up so that whenever one of our users creates a new file in Nuke, it automatically pulls up the Shotgun “File Save…” dialog box.

I’ve tried adding a call to save_as or save operation logic to the prepare_new operation in the scene_operation_tk-nuke hook, but it didn’t seem to take.

Any ideas?

It looks like a workaround may have been found.
