New Feature: AI Playlist Notes Summary (Beta)

Hi Folks

We’re excited to announce a new AI feature for Flow Production Tracking: Playlist Notes Summarisation.
The Playlist Notes Summary feature uses AI to turn the notes taken in a review session into a concise summary, published back into FPT as a note on the playlist. Users can choose how notes are grouped before generating (by pipeline step, artist, note type, etc) and each summary includes links back to the source notes for easy verification. The beta also includes feedback controls so users can rate the summary quality, helping us improve the experience.

Studios generate a constant stream of activity in FPT: notes, inbox updates, notifications, and more. We feel there’s opportunity to build summarisation features that cut through that noise for different roles and workflows, giving users a faster path to what matters to them and the work they’re doing. We’re starting with notes taken in a review session because the workflow is understood and reasonably consistent across studios.

We’re doing a staged rollout for this beta. We’ll enable the feature on sites gradually starting this month. We’ll be notifying Site Admins with an in-app banner when the feature is available on their site.

If you’d like to get access to this feature ahead of the staged rollout, please fill in this form and we’ll be in touch.

Things to know:

  • This feature is launching in beta, and is subject to terms and conditions
  • Your notes don’t leave Autodesk’s infrastructure
  • We’re not storing note content. We use it to generate the summary, and then it’s deleted.
  • This feature is not enabled by default. We’ve heard from customers that they want control over how AI features are rolled out at their studio, so Admins will first need to enable this workflow in Site Preferences, then grant access via permissions.
  • We are not training any models on your note data
  • For more information, please visit our AI transparency card homepage. AI transparency cards provide details on functionality, data sources, and the privacy and security safeguards in place for the AI features in Autodesk products.

This private beta is focused on helping us validate summarisation quality, understand scale and performance and gather feedback before a wider release. We’re looking forward to partnering with you as we expand access and learn from real-world usage.
Thanks,

Mason.

This is great!

Would love to check this out (have filled the form)
