My clients have mentioned the absense of Shapes like Arrows and Boxes, Circles, Triangles and lines that are part of the regular overview player as a missing feature.
They are also missing in RV.
Where Wacom Tablets are a common occurence in VFX and Animation, in Archviz and other industries they aren’t as prevalent so having the ability to annotate with shapes is a must-have.

We are a CG animation studio, but even for animation checkbacks, annotations using shapes are essential. Without this feature, it has become difficult to easily add annotations.
Not everyone can draw clean straight lines with a pen tablet. We sincerely hope this feature will be implemented soon.
