Managing shooting dailies and digital lab pipeline

I was wondering if I can manage to use Shotgrid to manage Digital Lab workflows.
I would like to create an entity that would be a Shooting Day and add tasks such as ingest, backup, visual evaluation, sync, conversion, dailies export, editoral export, dailies publish etc.

Does anyone here tried to use Shotgrid for that?

What you describe is perfectly possible using a Custom Entity (altough there may already be a “Shoot Day” entity available).
