Import XML to add Assets

It would be wonderful if we could import an XML like we can with EXCEL.
We are a Post, and we always receive an XML with the timeline of the shots we have to work on.
It would be interesting to import the xml to define all the assets to work.
Any idea?

Hello,

in the future it may be possible to import xml type data with Import Cut since it will support OTIO.
However I’m not sure about assets, that would not normally live in a cut export I would assume.

You can ofcourse write a Import app, Publisher Plugin or some other tool that uses the api to import the data you need to import.

There are many ways to get data into ShotGrid, the web ikmport focusses on the most common format (csv/excel).
