Is is possible to filter by a field value in the ShotGrid interface? (I know I could do this with the API).
What I’m trying to achieve is a “Similar Projects” page for all of our projects. We have custom fields for project type and region. I want to be able to go to the “Similar Projects” page and have it show me all the projects that are the same type and region as my current project.
Is this achievable in interface?
Hey @MClementson from my understanding of the web filters you can usually use the “current” entity as the value in an entity or multi-entity field filter, but you can’t take field values from the current entity to then do something akin to “On this current page in the current project show me other projects that have a value in these fields that have the same value as the current project.”
That’s a shame. It would be really useful to be able to do this.
