Customizing the 'file open...' dialog UI

Hello!

I’m wondering if it’s possible to customize the ‘file open…’ dialog UI.

What I specifically want is to add a new button (beside the Cancel and Open or the + New File buttons) and add a functionality to it. The functionality would be to call/display Maya’s default 'Open scene… ’ dialog.
I also want to do this with the save as dialog.

Hi! If i understand your idea you should look at tk-multi-workfiles2. And modify it or add hook which will have your functionality fot that app.
