Custom Entity Create Folder Help

Hi Guys
We are getting deep into custom config now with our schema and setting up custom entity’s etc. However we are running into a small issue with creating folders for custom entity’s.

If the entity is being used in a structure for say an asset etc it’s working great.

But we want to create folders for a custom entity itself as there is a schema for this.

We have added the key and the root to the templates yaml but still no tk function in the web system to create folders like on assets etc,

Are we missing a set up step for this to work ?
