Creative Review - Several Issues

Hi Team Autodesk,

The feedback from our artists and supervisors on Creative Review has been pretty positive so far, especially since adding the fields option in the detailed view, so thanks for that!

We did stumble upon three issues:

  • The playback is noticeably choppier in Creative Review than in the old player, and this especially happens with longer videos.
    We’ve tested both Chrome and Firefox (Windows and Linux), tried enabling/disabling hardware acceleration, but playback hasn’t improved.
  • There seems to be a bug when closing the Creative Review overlay while a video with audio is playing. Even after closing, the audio will continue to play.
  • For some people (independent of browser), changing the version at the top in the middle turns the CR screen black.

Hey AnnevH,

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve created a ticket for the second item as that should be straight forward to diagnose. Additional info could help if you have any, specifically workflow on this, file type, full screen, ect.

For the other two items, if you could provide as much detail as possible, we’ll create tickets for both of them. That info will help us diagnose and set up replicas.
