About the Known Version Panel Bug - noting this is currently truncating the version name - the hover-over pop-up is also not working, is that on your bug list too?

Both are known issues that we are working on and should be released in a patch early next week. I will adjust the original post to include the on-hover tooltip for the version name. Thank you and we’ll get this fix out ASAP.

Just wanted to follow up, the issue with the truncated version name not wrapping to two lines in the version panel should be fixed in a patch that was released today. Let us know if you are still having issues!

Hey all,

We’re seeing a couple issues with the Creative Review.

The status field on the Media Information panel is flickering between statuses. When clicked the entire side panel jumps as-if it’s scrolling then goes back into position. (Status Art is our sg_status_list)

CleanShot 2026-04-01 at 18.06.49

We see this behavior across any version.

We’re also noticing that playing a version in context with its uploaded cut doesn’t do anything.

Thanks,

Thank you for the feedback! I am logging those and will reach back out for any more information to reproduce the issues.

Are both of these issues new with the latest release or have they been ongoing issues?

Also could you outline the steps taken to upload the cut, version, and attempt to playback in context? We are working on better cut support now so I want to check how the versions are transcoded and the method in which the cuts are being imported into FPT.

We are having issues with Cuts in Creative Review behaving differently than they do in the standard player.
I’ve created a very simple 2 shot cut which plays as expected in the standard player(“Play in Browser” from the Media context). However, in Creative Review, when I am in a Cut context, I see the shots playing their full lengths and not respecting the in/outs set in the Cut.
Thanks

Hey Michael,

The flickering issue is new with this latest release. We haven’t seen it before, though we don’t use Creative Review frequently enough to rule out earlier occurrences.

Regarding the playback in context issue: cuts are uploaded via the Import Cut Tool in RV, and Versions are uploaded manually to ShotGrid through the New Version form, using SG’s standard transcoder.

Steps to reproduce: I opened a playlist in Creative Review, then selected the latest editorial version on the “No Context” selector, and nothing would load.

UPDATE: while writing this, I left the tab in the background for a bit, and it loaded the editorial cut. When refreshing it took about 20 seconds to load without much feedback from the app, which is confusing and unpredictable.

However, this comes with an error: it doesn’t play at the correct framerate (it plays at 23.976fps regardless of the cut’s or version’s actual framerates of 25fps).

Here’s the info for that cut:

And the playlist versions:

Thanks again

Thank you both for the additional information. We are making it a priority to look into Cuts and fixing or clarifying any issues that may be happening.
