Hello everyone! Creative Review Public Beta v0.218.0 has been released which includes a highly requested feature, many improvements, and various bug fixes. Here are the highlights of what is new:
- Collaboration Mode allowing multiple users in a live session to control playback, annotate, etc. without the need to transfer host to another participant
- Session backups for annotations that are left unsubmitted when leaving a live review
- Many bug fixes related to Live Review, Additional Fields linking, and Annotations

Live Review - Collaboration Mode/Presentation Mode
- Collaboration Mode enables the interaction between multiple users in live review sessions without the need to pass the host back and forth
- Participants in a live review session can now control playback, swap versions, and annotate simultaneously
- We have added a Presentation Mode as well that locks control of the session down to just the Host if they want participants to follow along
- The Host can switch between these two modes of control

Session Backups
- Session backups save all unsubmitted annotations created in a Live Review to the session itself so they can be accessed later even if all users leave the session
- All users can access these through the session ID or link to the Live Review instance
- These annotations and the session ID are not saved to FPT at this time, so we recommend saving the Session ID or the link to the live review if you intend on going back and submitting notes after everyone has left the session
- Note that this feature is intended as temporary backup and if you want to save/access your annotations in FPT you will need to submit them with a note
- Please refer to our documentation to understand how this backup is stored and how long it is accessible

Live Review
- Fixed an issue where continuous playback would kick users from a live session when transferring the host
- Fixed an issue where transferring host during Continuous Playback would only load one version for participants
- Fixed an issue with the timeline appearing different for host and participants in live sessions when viewing a cut
- Fixed an issue that would block users from using the In Context menu to load cuts after being promoted to host
- Participants in a live review session can no longer pin versions when viewing a cut since that action is not mirrored to all other users and could result in the user viewing different content than the rest of the live review participants/host
- The “Are you still there?” modal now closes when the user selects leave session in the live review panel

Annotations
- Fixed an issue where sometimes the annotation button is active, but the user cannot make annotations

Additional Fields
- Selected tasks in the Additional Fields task grid are now saved properly when switching versions and returning to submit a note
- Fixed an issue that would cause notes to be linked incorrectly when having Additional Fields open and switching versions
- Fixed an issue preventing the submission of notes when using the task grid in Additional Fields and switching versions
- Fixed an issue with the selected tasks in Additional Fields losing the checkmark indicator when switching versions
- Fixed an issue with Reset to Default button in Additional Fields remaining enabled after returning the original values
