Hi, Our team is using the Creative Review as our default player and it works great for everyone except one singular user:
For him: All notes, fields, and text appear in a dark gray, making it near impossible to read any notes that appear on the view. When he clicks into “Detail View” it highlights the box in a strange light gray whilst keeping the font in a dark gray:
This only seems to be prevalent with his account since I never experienced this issue and no one i talked to has had this happen to them either. This persists across his MAC and PC. as well as different Chrome user profiles. But if i use my admin tool to “log in as him” I get the standard white text view:
Thanks for posting. This is an interesting one. I’d recommend taking a quick look within the personal settings. However because of the uniqueness of this issue, we’ve created an internal jira ticket. Once we have someone take a look we’ll get back to you regarding this.
It doesn’t seem to be the case. Here’s everything I tried/tested:
It persists accross both Mac/Windows devices
Both use google chrome with different gmail settings for each/no persisting extentions
Lightmode/darkmode doesn’t seem to affect it (both in browser and in site)
I removed/disabled his access to the site and re-enabled it
I had him reset computer
Using “Use as another user” and logging in as him does not replicate the effect for me. Nor does if I do the same steps on a PC.
I tried to replicate the effect on my end by messing with browser settings, different light/dark mode configurations (browser, site, and computer), the aforementioned use as his user profile, and nothing I can do can replicate this effect for me.
As far as I can tell, no one else on the team is experiencing this visual, at least none that are reporting it to me. And most the team would be using this daily.
Sorry for leading the search astray but it WAS related to Lightmode/Darkmode settings in flow.
I got it to globally fix anyone who was affected just by switching the mode settings once. and it fixed everything no matter what view it was moving forward. Not sure why it needs to be toggled once, but that fixed it
Good to hear, I’ve added your resolve to our ticket. We’ll still have a look to make sure that work flows aren’t an issue moving forward for other users.
We’ve had a look into this and our engineers have a fix that should be deployed next week regarding grey text in dark mode. Hopefully we won’t see anymore issues after that. We’ll let you know when it releases so you can double check that this issue isn’t happening anymore.
