I frequently have to compare a working framerange comp with reduced handles to a full framerange scan/version zero - is there any way to offset the clips so that they align in compare mode?
This is a very high priority feature request for me if there is no way of currently achieving it
Hello Adam! Thank you for your feedback, this feature request has been brought up a lot recently and moving up our list of priorities. I will add this feedback to our backlog.
Would you say this is a blocker to adoption and use or a high priority improvement?
I can confirm the priority of this feature has raised but we are working on a few other major features at the moment so no timeline has been decided on when we would be able to implement.
Thanks for the update and really appreciate you looking into this.
I just want to re-iterate how important this offset clip issue is - dare I say it’s an issue not a feature-request really. It’s very common practice to have overlength scans but to only work on a limited working range therefore making it impossible to compare properly without a massive workaround of publishing additional working-range scans or version zeros. If you were to poll the users I’m pretty sure there would be a 100% agreement this is a really high priority over many other features.
BTW - I almost exclusively use Creative Review as my default player now as it is far superior in many respects to the ‘legacy’ media player; in my opinion it’s well worth the time invested to make this the best. Thank you.
Copy that! We appreciate hearing that Creative Review is working better for you in many other ways! We will continue investing in it to make it even better in the long run. Which included the compare frame offset which at this time is right below our next major feature release in terms of priority.
